Type Con is a dynamic three-day weekend conference focused on exploring the art and science of typography and design. It provides designers with an invaluable opportunity to engage in lectures, hands-on workshops, and discussions about the latest trends and techniques in the industry. The event aims to inspire creativity and foster a deeper understanding of how typography influences design and communication.
For the event advertisement, I decided to transform a typography poster into the central visual element of the campaign. By leveraging the poster’s color palette and geometric shapes, I was able to create a striking design that reflects the complexity and precision inherent in typography. The clean lines and bold shapes not only capture the attention of potential attendees but also convey the structured yet creative essence of the event. The design is intended to evoke the thoughtfulness and craftsmanship involved in typography, while also enticing designers to immerse themselves in the latest trends and innovations. This approach helps communicate the conference’s core theme while providing an engaging and visually captivating representation of the event.
